Mace, Ground
Mace, Ground Ground mace comes from the ground outer shell (web) of the nutmeg. Mace and nutmeg are from the same tree, a large evergreen tree native to the Moluccas Islands and the East Indian Archipelago.

Substitute 1/4 teaspoon Ground Mace for 1 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg.

Use in cakes, cookies, Danish Pastry dough, breads.
