Citric Acid
Citric acid is used in sausage making and canning. Keeps fruits from discoloring. Add some to your dishwasher to take the soap scum off glassware. Try adding 1/4 tsp. of citric acid in addition to 1 teaspoon salt to 1 quart canning tomatoes for firmer vegetables.
